Having photographed Blue River several times now, I wanted to get a few wider shots of them as a band as well as interacting with each other for them to add to the portfolio of live images they have.
The Monarch has terrible lighting so the majority of photographs are in black and white. While in some respects this feels like cheating, the Blue River performance that night was pretty energetic so having a punky feel to the images fits with the performance I feel.
