Generally for my portraits this year I will go into someones home and photograph them in a place that they feel comfortable. However, when I approached Poppy in regards to this, she felt that she would be more comfortable in her favourite place, a graveyard. Graveyards are notoriously difficult places to shoot maybedue to poor lighting, or just that they can be a little cliché. Anyway, I wanted to create a sense of emotion, loss, mourning and I feel like we got a few good shots with this in mind.
