I'm always looking to do more band shots. It's a whole difference side to creating portraits, trying to make the shot work for the group of people you're photographing in terms of their personality as individuals, as a band, and also with composition as well.
Auction For The Promise Club were a lovely bunch to work with. From the off it was clear to see how close a group of people they were, not just a band but friends. It was also made evident that a quick photograph of them pressed up against a wall wasn't going to be good enough. It needed to be 'quirky' as well as show the positive energy within the band. And I think I've captured this with a collection of casual and posed shots.
