Prime continues to be one of Truro’s best kept secrets (although hopefully not for long), offering interesting events this time as part of Truro’s food festival.
The masterclass itself was run via Extract Coffee, the company from whom Prime sources their coffee, and was a well turned out event, showing just how popular coffee is and has been for a good number of years now.
The event it was a masterclass on how to make a great coffee using varying equipment, a testing of various coffees, followed by a question and answer session. As a photographer I tried to not get too distracted by the lovely coffee available and capture elements of the process of the coffee being made, the audience, as well as the general vibe. Given the large audience in a small area, I stuck to using my Fujifilm xt2 with a 35mm lens (not something I do often for more commercial work) and then towards the end I brought out my wide angle lens (at the request of the team at Prime).
