Back with the Blue River boys finally! It’s been a long time coming but I finally managed to hang out with Blue River again and take some photographs of them creating their forthcoming single (and their best yet in my opinion), Kiss Kiss.
As I’ve said before, it’s become pretty easy and laid back getting images of the band because over the years we’ve become friends so they are used to me being around and also used to having a camera pointed at them every once in awhile which obviously makes life less stressful for me.
I haven’t been to Cube in maybe like a year or it could even be more but they’ve definitely upped their game even more since I was was last there. So many spaces to just chill out and so much equipment. It’s just such a well equipped space to create in and it looks like it’s only going to grow, so it’s probably going to be mental the next time I manage to get in there!
I definitely love documenting the recording process. It’s so polarising between being fun but also being incredibly boring, being creative but at times also being stressful. I love capturing that and being a part of that, even if it does mean I’m on my feet for a whole day! I know music still isn’t quite going back to normal yet but if any artists or bands are recording and would like someone to document it, then get in touch!
