Out of Sequence Experimental Portrait in Unique Framed Instax

Out of Sequence Experimental Portrait in Unique Framed Instax
A small, hushed portrait held inside a frame like a thought you don’t want to lose.
This Instax carries the softness of first looking — the moment before expression settles into something recognisable. Light arrives gently, unannounced, and stays just long enough to leave a trace.
The immediacy of the Instax process gives the image a faint instability, as if it might shift when you’re not watching. A singular piece, unrepeatable, and quietly attentive.
Each portrait is made in the space between looking and knowing — a study of presence and memory.
This portrait of Anjie is made using Fujifilm Instax Mini film and set within a vintage film holder — a small, tactile photographic object measuring 16 × 10 cm.
