Out of Sequence Experimental Portrait in Unique Framed Instax

Out of Sequence Experimental Portrait in Unique Framed Instax
A small, hushed portrait held inside a frame like a thought you don’t want to lose.
This Instax carries the softness of first looking. The moment before expression settles into something recognisable. Light arrives gently, unannounced, and stays just long enough to leave a trace.
The immediacy of the Instax process gives the image a faint instability, as if it might shift when you’re not watching. A singular piece, unrepeatable, and quietly attentive.
Each portrait is made in the space between looking and knowing. A study of presence and memory.
This portrait of Anjie is made using Fujifilm Instax Mini film and set within a vintage film holder. A small, tactile photographic object measuring 16 × 10 cm.
