These photographs were taken in Zafiros in Truro, Cornwall.
Some words about the shots…
Zafiros is a strange place to photograph in. One of those places where there isn’t a stage because live music wasn’t a thought when the venue opened so the bands are shoved next to the window (and fridges it seems). Also, Zafiros has zero lighting for live performances so these were taken using a flash.
I’ve continued the theme from the last gig, so lots of tight cropped close up portraits of band members as well as a lot of low shutter speed shots to create that movement and energy.
